We explore new and innovative ways of creating dynamic physical environments by incorporating technology to merge the virtual or digital with the physical world. Since 1999, we have been pushing the boundaries on incorporating information & digital technology into our physical environment to reinforce the sense of community, communication and belonging.
We have global project experience and offer various design services specializing in lighting design using smart lighting technology, digital transformation and IoT as well as creating unique design experiences within the digital and physical space.
“In3Design” was incorporated by Beatrice Witzgall in 2004 in New York City and in 2007 renamed to the shorter abbreviation of “i3D”.

Beatrice is a German-trained Architect and award-winning designer specializing in leveraging technology to transform environments. She is highly skilled in creating customized experiences to provide a unique user experience or ambiance within a physical space or digital design. She is a widely published and renowned industry speaker with over twenty years of global experience designing solutions and fifteen years of managing and leading teams of professionals serving a variety of industries including architecture, real-estate, lighting, retail, hospitality and maritime. Her specialty lies in her ability to create a recognizable identity that results in a signature user experience within a physical space or digital design.
With a focus on IoT and Smart Lighting, Beatrice is a driven lighting and digital designer. Having specialized in Yacht and Hospitality Lighting. Beatrice has a successful track record of entrepreneurship, business management, product development and fund raising.
